How we work

A visit here is booked long enough to look, talk and decide. Nothing starts before you have the plan and the estimate in your hands.

  • Time

Visits are booked long enough for your dentist to show you what they see and answer what you ask.

  • A plan on paper

You get the options, the visits each needs and a written estimate before any work starts.

  • Your pace

You can take the plan home. We follow up if you ask us to, and not otherwise.

About the practice

A general practice with a cosmetic eye

Gramercy Dental Studio is two general dentists and a small team who treat adults. We do the everyday work, like check-ups, fillings and crowns, and the cosmetic work people ask about, like veneers and whitening.

We look closely, explain what we find and put the options in writing. When a case needs an orthodontist, periodontist, endodontist or oral surgeon's training, we refer you to one.

Services

Dentistry for adults, planned in order

Every service is provided by a general dentist, and we refer you to an orthodontist, periodontist or oral surgeon when a case needs one.

  1. Porcelain veneers

Thin porcelain shells fixed to the front of your teeth, planned with photos and a digital preview you can react to before anything is made.

  2. Dental implants

A titanium post placed in the jaw to hold a replacement tooth. We place straightforward cases here and refer to an oral surgeon when a case needs one.

  3. Teeth whitening

Whitening in the office or at home, matched to the color of your teeth and to how sensitive they are.

  4. Clear aligners

Clear plastic aligners that move teeth in small steps, for mild to moderate crowding or spacing, planned from a scan.

  5. Replacing many teeth

When many teeth are missing or failing, we lay out each option, from a bridge to implants to a denture, and the choice to wait.

  6. Check-ups and cleanings

An exam, X-rays when your dentist decides you need them, a cleaning and a look at your gums, with home care that fits you.

Your first months

From first visit to follow-up

A clear path, one step at a time, and you can stop at any step.

  1. 01

    Step 1: First visit

An exam, X-rays if your dentist decides you need them, and a long talk about what you want.

  2. 02

Step 2: Your plan and estimate

The options, how many visits each takes and what it will cost, written down for you to take home.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Treatment

We do the work you chose, in the order we agreed, and tell you what to expect afterward.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Follow-up

A check-in after treatment, then a recall schedule your dentist sets with you.
